Texas Haiku

Marcy reminded me about this the other day. I wrote it shortly after we moved from Chicago to Austin in 1997 and it still makes me chuckle.

I hear the cows moo.
My neighbor's name is Elwood.

We live in Texas.

Steve,
I loved your blogs! Especially about Flannery. I had forgotten that you were from KY. We were in Paducah last summer visiting my best friend from my childhood. They are now moving to Florence KY. Her husband is a pain management Dr. KY is beautiful!
From there we went to Ohio to visit Lorne's brother and ended up at Cedar Point. What a great park, right on the beach! 80 degrees in the middle of July. My kind of place.

Tell everyone howdy from TX.
Regards,
Kim

Thanks for dropping by. I know Paducah well, and Florence (y'all) a little bit. Actually I know Florence more from my Ohio days since it's right outside Cincy. And Cedar Park is one of America's great amusement parks, which is a high compliment because I usually don't care much for those places.
